About Nikki Mouse

Once upon a time…

It’s kind of amazing how many stories start that way, isn’t it? Tales of beasts, pirates, flying boys, and talking animals have enchanted us for centuries, long before Walt Disney came on the scene. But it’s because of Walt that I’m writing this. He dreamed of a theme park where families could go and just be a family, where the outside world fell away and wishes coming true took center stage. Where a mouse was the star of the show and the show took place in front of a beautiful castle. I want to help share that story.

I moved to Florida for that most adult of reasons – to be near Disney World. And work. But mostly that first one. And after YEARS of people asking if I work there (I don’t), I decided to write about my adventures and share my considerable wealth of Disney knowledge. My sincerest wish is that this will always be a work in progress, as I hope that I will never stop learning about Walt Disney World. I want to share quiet spots to relax (maybe even read!), fun spots to pose for pictures, games to play in the parks, the best places to see Rapunzel, the worst things to do in a sudden rain storm, and everything in between.

So…what DO you do when in WDW?

P.S. I am a bit of a bibliophile, and wasn’t kidding about places to read in the parks. Reading Tom Sawyer on Tom Sawyer Island in a rocking chair outside of Aunt Polly’s while sipping a lemonade? Amazing.
